Nearly 400 lead buyers and sellers convened at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas to learn what's next in the online lead generation industry. What started as an intimate gathering of a few dozen participants in its first year, the now third-annual Online Lead Quality Summit drew representatives from across the industry to hear people like Doug Lebda, founder of LendingTree.com, explain how he leveraged lead quality to new levels of business growth. In fact, LendingTree was honored as the most innovative in the industry for its 10 years of perpetual growth in name recognition and loans, despite the difficult economy.

Driven by actual case studies of companies that have benefited from the cutting-edge lead-scoring tools developed by TARGUSinfo, attendees left the Summit armed with simple but effective tactics to improve their bottom line. Led by David Wengel, who oversees the TARGUSinfo Interactive Markets division, the Summit provided individual learning seminars in the industries where companies are best harnessing the power of lead generation, including automotive, education and financial services. Moreover, accomplished industry insiders like Bryan Stapp, former CMO for Quicken Loans, provided helpful tips for weathering the storm in the struggling home mortgage industry, while Jay Weintraub, founder of LeadsCon, gave a humorous but effective warning to those who give the lead generation industry a bad name.
